HOME WORLD: Verenth
STAR SYSTEM: Soderquist
QUADRANT: Delta

PHYSICAL STRUCTURE

The Leporin are a graceful and agile species, standing between 5 to 6 feet tall. They are known for their rabbit-like appearance, featuring long ears and strong hind legs. Their bodies are covered in soft fur that ranges in color from snowy white to earthy browns and grays, providing natural camouflage in their forested environment. The Leporin have large, expressive eyes that reflect their intelligence and offer excellent vision, especially in low-light conditions.
Known affectionately throughout the galaxy as “Thumpers,” the Leporin have gained this nickname due to the distinctive sound their powerful hind legs make when they drum the ground. This behavior, often used as an alarm signal or form of communication within their Clades, has become iconic, symbolizing their alertness and community spirit. Their strong legs allow for remarkable speed and jumping ability, making them adept at navigating the dense landscapes of Verenth.
The Leporin’s ears are both expressive andfunctional, capable of rotating to enhance their acute sense of hearing, which is crucial for detecting potential threats and communicating with each other over long distances.
Their forelimbs are dexterous, ending in tactile pads and fingers capable of precise manipulation, allowing them to craft tools and work with fine details. The Leporin possess a highly developed sense of smell, aiding in communication, foraging, and social interactions.

SENSES
